BREAKING, EXCLUSIVE: TSA Whistleblower Confirms Illegal Aliens May Board Planes With CA Licenses
January 21, 2015 by Charles C. Johnson
Illegal immigrants can board airplanes with California’s driver licenses despite repeated guarantees to the contrary.
A whistleblower from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has turned over documents to Gotnews.com that contradict media reports that illegal immigrants may not travel within the U.S. with a California driver’s license.
A memo from Eric Beane, director of operations performance, security operations dated January 6, 2015 says that TSA accepts the illegal immigrant driver’s licenses for travel within the U.S.
“At this time, TSA accepts both compliant and non-compliant driver’s licenses and state-issued IDs. When an individual presents a driver’s license or state-issued ID with ‘not for official purposes,’ ‘not for federal use,’ or similar language imprinted, the TDC officer must accept the ID using the procedure in Section 3.2. In the future, TSA will implement a plan to fully endorse the REAL ID Act, including changing the procedure as to these licenses. [Emphasis in the original]”
The whistleblower contacted us with the memo. “In essence the states says “no you can’t” but the feds are saying “Si se puede (Yes you can)!” he said.
