Jeff Sessions Announces New ZERO TOLERANCE Immigration Policy By Andrew West April 7, 2018
The national attention has been steadily moving toward the border over the course of the last several weeks, as a caravan of illegal Honduran migrants march toward America.
In years past, this sort of pilgrimage to the liberty-laden lands of these United States may have flown under the radar. The Obama administration was certainly fond of illegal immigrants, who not only unbalanced the national economy due to their lack of tax responsibility, but also pave the way for even more serious criminals to scamper across our southern border.
This was something that Donald Trump spoke extremely passionately about on the 2016 campaign trail, often referring to the possibility of a big, beautiful wall on the border between America and its southern neighbor. That big, beautiful wall would, of course, have a doorway in it from which these immigrants could pass, but only under the strictest of vetting procedures, and only within the preexisting legal parameters of applying for citizenship.
In other words, there would be no more dine and dash on our dime, with laborers from the south migrating seasonally only to send their earnings illegally back to Mexico.
This wall would also make it far more difficult for the notoriously violent drug cartels to move their products, both in narcotics and in human trafficking victims, back and forth into America.
While the wall itself has been stalled by an obstruction-obsessed democratic party and the “resistance” rats in their employ, President Trump has found other ways to deal with security at the border, just last week ordering a plethora of National Guard troops to go toe the line.
Now, just days later, Attorney General Jeff Sessions has doubled down on the Department of Justice’s response to the illegal immigration epidemic by announcing incredibly strict new penalties for those who would seek to come to America improperly.

The Justice Department announced Friday that it is implementing a “zero-tolerance” policy for prosecuting those attempting to enter the U.S. illegally — the latest in a series of measures by the Trump administration to combat illegal immigration.
“The situation at our Southwest Border is unacceptable,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in a statement announcing the policy. “Congress has failed to pass effective legislation that serves the national interest — that closes dangerous loopholes and fully funds a wall along our southern border. “
“As a result, a crisis has erupted at our Southwest Border that necessitates an escalated effort to prosecute those who choose to illegally cross our border,” he said.
The Trump administration says the number of attempted border crossings has increased by 203 percent since March 2017. In response, Trump this week signed a proclamation sending the National Guard to the border. He has said he would like to see 2,000-4,000 members sent to the border.
This zero tolerance policy will certainly create a powerful deterrent for those who have had close calls crossing in the past, and will penalize anyone choosing to ignore the laws of the United States – something that certainly hasn’t always been the case.
