Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush called on Congress to pass bipartisan comprehensive amnesty legislation after President Barack Obama unilaterally granted nearly five million illegal immigrants executive amnesty on Thursday.
Bush, a potential 2016 presidential candidate who has come under fire for his support for comprehensive amnesty legislation and Common Core, said Obama's "ill-advised unilateral action on illegal immigration undermines all efforts to forge a permanent solution to this crisis." But he said the GOP-led Congress should act on a comprehensive amnesty bill.
"Action must come in the form of bipartisan comprehensive reform passed through Congress," he said. "President Obama has once again put divisive and manipulative politics before the sober leadership and sound laws required of an exceptional nation. It is time for Republican leaders in Congress to act. We must demonstrate to Americans we are the Party that will tackle serious challenges and build broad-based consensus to achieve meaningful reforms for our citizens and our future."

And this is supposed to be the "articulate" Bush? Here - I'll provide the translation:
"Our so-called opposition party (they're really not, but just play along) has decided - in the great and noble spirit of bipartisanship - that they need more voters. The outcome of the last election shows that democrats simply cannot count on election fraud alone to prevail.
So - in that spirit - we must help them out and in the spirit of compromise give them what they want. Now the fact is, they have what is equivalent to a five-year old as the leader of their party.
Normally, it is not good to give in to the demands of five-year olds when they stomp their foot when they don't get their way. But this is different.
Since 2010, we've all been living under the horrors of the tea party. They haven't allowed speaker Boehner or Minority Leader McConnell to do our normal "reach across the aisle" and compromise with democrats by doing what they want.
This has frustrated moderates like me (and Karl Rove) to no end. And it has frustrated our "boy president" no end.
But now, the tea party threat has been mitigated somewhat - and we have a perfect chance in the next two years to show the NY TIMES and NBC that we're fit to govern (with their permission, of course).
