Guantanamo Bay Inmates Keep Getting Released, Even As 1st Lieutenant Clint Lorance Rots In Prison

Since President Obama took office back in 2009, at least 70 Guantanamo Bay inmates have been released and allowed to repatriate their home countries. Many of these former inmates have gone on to rejoin the jihadi effort against the United States. The most recent release involved Fawzi al-Odah, who the Obama admin decided to let go about a week ago.
Meanwhile, according to Hannity, 1st Lieutenant Clint Lorance remains stuck in prison, destined to spend 20 years of his life in prison:
In August of 2013, Lorance was convicted of second-degree murder for ordering his men to shoot at three military-aged Afghanis speeding towards his platoon while on patrol on a Taliban-influenced road in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan.
The problem is that the allegations against Clint Lorance contain a slew of holes. For instance, “the identity of the putative victims is unknown” because Colonel Halstead specifically prohibited investigators from conducting interviews to collect needed evidence.
