Megyn and Hanoi Jane have had a very public tiff about the quality of an interview Megyn did with her some time ago. Hanoi Jane, in particular, has been very critical and vocal about it. Megyn retaliates.
"
ZitatI have no regrets about that question [on plastic surgery], nor am I in the market for a lesson from Jane Fonda on what is and is not appropriate. This is a woman whose name is synonymous with outrage. Look at her treatment of military during the Vietnam War. Many of our veterans still call her ‘Hanoi Jane,’ thanks to her radio broadcast which attempted to shame American troops. She posed on an anti-aircraft gun used to shoot down our American pilots. She called our P.O.W.s hypocrites and liars and referred to their torture as ‘understandable.’Even she had to apologize years later for that gun picture. But not for the rest of it. By the way she says she is not proud of America. So, the moral indignation is a little much. She put her plastic surgery out there."
Well said, Megyn.
Hanoi Jane's despicable behavior is bad enough, but another thing that has always nettled me is how her career and popularity never really suffered, at least among a select group of women. Even after her treason and lies she did an exercise video which sold well, especially among the affluent. She still makes movies and currently is starring in some TV show. Her life is a cosmic injustice.
The favorite tool in the main stream media's (MSM) tool bag is the overt suppression of good news favoring conservatives or Republicans. Following closely behind is their suppression of bad news about Democrats.
