Let The Record Show That August 21, 2014 Was The Day The Liberal Media Stopped Giving Obama A Pass On The Golf Thing
After Obama gave his 5-minute speech on Wednesday about the beheading of James Foley, Mock and I went on the air here in Indianapolis, and in between sets, Mock looked at me while looking online and said, "wait a second....Obama went right back to GOLFING aftter he made that statement? That can't be true. That's not TRUE, is it???"
To which I responded, "yep, I've seen that in a couple different places, Mock."
And alas, it was true. Our leader, after leaving the microphone to discuss the brutal beheading of one of our own at the hands of terrorists, went right back to golfing with his celebrity buddies.
Because that's how Obama rolls.
I put a headline about it on Mock's Facebook wall, and one of her liberal friends pounced on it, with the age-old liberal argument of "BUT WHAT ABOUT BUUUUUSH?" The back-and-forth between he and I ensued. That continued between sets for about an hour - liberals just LOOOOVE deflecting and chatting about Bush, as you know - eventually Mock got involved, and by night's end, I believe they ended up dissolving their Facebook friendship. Because, as many of you can attest, politics is a real bitch when it comes to actually surviving social media "friendships."
That little exchange made me think of this and how liberals came out of the woodwork yesterday to express their disgust over Obama golfing in the wake of James Foley's brutal murder and Obama's seemingly "fiery" statement about it. Politico's leftwing Dylan Byer's tweeted, "I usually dismiss the "Obama golfs as the world burns" critics. I find his decision to golf today somewhat baffling."
CNN Politics posted a picture of Obama golfing and said, "This is what President Obama did after his speech.
Video of Geraldo at link .. Thursday on Fox News Channel's "The Real Story With Gretchen Carlson," network regular Geraldo Rivera expressed deep frustration with President Barrack Obama's reaction yesterday to ISIS beheading American journalist James Foley saying, "Playing golf with his old chums from the hood" was "totally tone deaf and insincere." "I think he let us down," he said. http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-TV/20...-Americans-Down

202 years ago this week, First Lady Dolly Madison saved the famous portrait of George Washington from the White House during the War of 1812. If it happened today, Obama would probably save his golf clubs!~~FB comment
