Don’t care re Polanski, but I hope if my daughter is ever raped it is by an older truly talented man w/a great sense of mise en scene
Funny, huh? It's a tweet posted by some guy named Sam Seder in 2009, an MSNBC contributor. When the tweet was recently revealed MSNBC cut ties with Seder only to now reverse itself, because, in the words of MSNBC President Phil Griffin, "we understand the point Sam was trying to make in that tweet was actually in line with our values, even though the language was not." Another factor in his rehire, though not publically acknowledged, was that the tweet was revealed by "a number of extreme right-wingers (including the ubiquitous troll Mike Cernovich)" which, of course, makes all the difference in the world.
Seder accepted MSNBC recognition of its mistake and its apology. How sweet.
