Thousands of participants from all over the world came to the Quicken Loans Arena to watch the opening ceremony.

Greg Louganis, Lance Bass, the Pointer Sisters, Broadway's Andrea McArdle and Alex Newell also made appearances at the opening ceremony."

I don't think the big 0 is a big fan of the gay movement, despite any proclivities in that direction he may have. He's appearing more and more to be more islamic than not. I think his ideas about "gayness" were formed early on and while he has no problem using them for political means, I don't think he has any respect or fondness for them.
