Less than a day after former IRS official Lois Lerner was found in criminal contempt of Congress, her old agency has agreed to turn over copies of all her emails and other correspondence to one of the Republican-led House committees investigating the scandal that led to her retirement.
The agency's quick concession came after Wednesday night's 231-178 contempt vote, which closely followed the passage of a second resolution demanding the appointment of a nonpartisan 'special counsel' at the Department of Justice.
Lerner has twice refused to answer questions in congressional hearings after lawmakers issued a subpoena for her appearance.
'This is ALL Lerner documents,' a House Ways and Means Committee official confirmed to MailOnline.
Uh huh. And recall the administration was supposed to surrender all documents relevant to Benghazi.
Documents reviewed by Fox News show there are differences between Benghazi emails released through the federal courts to the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch and emails released to the House oversight committee as part of its investigation into the attacks.
The discrepancies are fueling allegations the administration is holding back documents to Congress.
"The key question is whether Congress now has all the documents," Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, a member of the oversight committee, said. As for differences between the two sets of documents, Chaffetz alleged: "They are playing games. The classification and redactions are different. Why should Judicial Watch get more than Congress after issuing a subpoena?"
Does anyone really trust the Obama admin "to turn over copies of all her emails and other correspondence to one of the Republican-led House committees investigating the scandal that led to her retirement." I sure as hell don't.

It's bad when the evidence makes it a logical assumption that obfuscation will continue to occur, even as the words coming out of the mouths say it won't.

I thought this was a dodge by the IRS to just give the committee some worthless garbage and move on, but the more I think about it, most of the relevent people have been fingered and are out of the IRS. The IRS may actually give them everything to finally put an end to this thing for these reasons:
1) Zero is terribly unpopular and is already a lame duck for the next three years. He won't be able to give them any cover if the committee really digs.
2) The House will and most likely the Senate will be in control of the GOP soon. If the IRS pisses off congress, things will get really tough for them as they beg for money to implement Zerocare. It is all about the funding in the long run.
3) Putting this matter to bed now will allow the IRS issue to fade into the background as Benghazi takes center stage this summer. They could then get back to corruption and underhanded shit that both parties will love.
