BEHIND ENEMY LINES: Hi-Res Images of BLM War Zone Exposes Fed’s Military Fiasco at Bundy Ranch

New images of cattle rancher Cliven Bundy’s tense standoff with the Federal Bureau of Land Mangement (BLM) on Saturday afternoon reveal how the armed agency’s military operation configured to forcefully engage Bundy cowboys and their supporters who sought to liberate federally confiscated cattle over the weekend.
These exclusive images were taken by a GMN photographer positioned right above the action on the Southbound side of Interstate 15 near Bunkerville, Nevada.
Despite the BLM being instructed to leave the Bundy Ranch and Gold Butte area earlier that morning, the agency still insisted had a legal right to be there and that it would not let go of hundreds of cows it had already taken away from the Bundy Family. Critics are asking if that ‘legal right’ also includes stationing a federal military force in Bunkerville.
Prior to this standoff, the special agent in charge of BLM’s ground operations, Daniel P. Love, had issued a warning that any one who crosses the federal line in order to free the seized cattle – will be arrested. Love went on boasting his agency’s advantage over Bundy supporters when saying, “I’ve seen your numbers right now, you’d better hope that 10,000 show up.”
It turns out that protesters needed far less numbers to overcome Love’s federal army. In the end, a Bundy’s contingent of 150 cowboys on horseback and a few hundred of peaceful supporters – backed by a well-organised volunteer militia, all together, proceed to march past the BLM’s line of demarcation to the entrance of cattle holding area, prompting the platoon of armed federal tactical teams to stand down and fall back.
This is the first collection in a three part series, showing the federal government’s military build-up to Saturday’s climax under US Interstate 15…

When Clark County Nevada Sheriff Douglas Gillespie left the podium at Saturday morning’s press conference at the Bundy Ranch, he left Cliven Bundy and his supporters believing that federal soldiers working for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) would be ‘standing down’, only that didn’t happen.
Was this is ploy by the BLM – to create a chaotic powder keg situation only hours later?
Why the BLM would withdraw from Gold Butte on the Bundy Ranch, but then secretly plan an huge armed confrontation – against Bundy cowboys and their supporters who were heading over to reclaim their stolen property – is astonishing.
There are some great pictures and videos on this site.
HAPPY TRAILS: Cowboys on Horseback Move in to Reclaim Bundy Cattle Stolen By BLM April 12, 2014 By 21wire 9 Comments 21st Century Wire
Following the surprise announcement by Clark County’s Sheriff Douglas Gillespie this morning of a deal brokered to end the BLM’s occupation of the Bundy Ranch and Gold Butte, rancher Cliven Bundy has moved to reclaim some of his cattle previously stolen by the BLM.
After the Sheriff’s statement on stage at Camp Bunkerville, Cliven Bundy then made a list of demands, calling for the US Federal government’s 200 armed BLM agents to wrap-up their operation, and that they should begin “disarming the park service rangers”, and remove their equipment and structures to be “torn down immediately – within the hour”.
UPDATE - Part 3: BEHIND THE LINES – More Stunning Photos, Video of Bundy Ranch Standoff April 17, 2014 By 21wire
It was an emotional two hours. Last week’s standoff between the Federal Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and Bundy Ranch supporters will undoubtedly endure as a pivotal moment in 21st century American – where, for the first time in living memory, federal despotism has held in check.
As 21WIRE reported previously, Clark County, Nevada Sheriff Douglas Gillespie had given thousands of Bundy supporters the false impression that the BLM, police and gov’t contracted mercenary soldiers – would in fact be “standing down”. Much to the public’s surprise some two hours later, after making their way along the highway to release hundreds of seized Bundy cattle, they were met with multiple platoons of armed Federal agents and SWAT gunman in what can only be described as a type of ambush by a brutal US government.
Amongst the diverse crowd of Bundy family members and public who bravely volunteered themselves to be on the front line alongside the cowboys – and in the federal gun-sights – were women, specifically cowgirls on horseback (see their photo at bottom of article). This was one of the most powerful and enduring images which will undoubtedly go down in American history.
