Posting this is my contribution to everyone's Easter joy. It won't be the same without Posh Spice, but, by golly, it will still be grand.
ZitatPeople everywhere are about to have their lives spiced up!
Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton and Geri are in the midst of planning a Spice Girls reunion tour! According to Us Weekly's sources, the ladies that brought major girl power to the '90s have been plotting this for quite a while. "This has been in the works for the past year. The girls have long been keen to do a major reunion tour together," their source explained.
It looks like Scary, Sporty, Baby and Ginger will be reuniting on the stage more than 20 years after the their pop group formed in 1994. The tour would be timed perfectly with a big anniversary for the women -- their hit song "Wannabe" was released in November.
While there is no official confirmation yet, rumors have been swirling that the stars of "Spice World" might be returning back to the stage. Mel B, Scary Spice herself, even teased Wonderwall.com with the idea in an interview in 2015. This reunion tour would come almost 10 years after their last world tour, The Return of the Spice Girls, back in 2007.
Though the buzz of their potential tour is great news to those that adored them in the '90s, there is one member of the group who might not be joining them to sing the hits -- Victoria Beckham.
Victoria, who Spice Girls fans know as Posh, now fittingly works as a fashion designer and might be too busy to join the ladies on a tour. "They are trying to convince Victoria to jump in, but she doesn't want to do it," a source told the magazine. Diehard Posh Spice fans need not be heartbroken quite yet -- there's still a possibility she might have some involvement in the British group's reunion. They are reportedly still in talks with the final member about appearances.
