HARARE – Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe has praised his Ugandan counterpart Yoweri Museveni for introducing tough anti-gay laws and says he’ll be investigating the activities of a Zimbabwean gay and lesbian right group.
The Chairperson of Gays and Lesbians of Zimbabwe (GALZ) was in court only last week on charges of running an unregistered organisation, but the case was dismissed.

These aren’t entirely unexpected words from Robert Mugabe who has made his own feelings on gays very clear.

He told guests at a cocktail party at his daughter’s wedding this weekend that Museveni was “fighting a just fight”.

According to The Herald newspaper, Mugabe dismissed the claim that gay rights were human rights.

Mugabe has, in fact, stated that homosexuals are "worse than pigs and dogs".

Obama has threatened to withdraw aid and loans from Uganda because it's new anti-homosexual laws, so now what about Zimbabwe?
