Zitat“Climate change is not science,” GOP presidential hopeful Ted Cruz told Glenn Beck in an interview that aired on TheBlaze TV Wednesday night.
“It’s religion,” he said. “Look at the language where they call you a denier.”
Cruz went on to say — as “the child of two scientists” — “denier is not the language of science.”
The Texas senator said the “essence of the scientific method” is to start with an original hypothesis and then pursue evidence that disproves that hypothesis.
Cruz recently went toe-to-toe over the truth of climate change in a Senate hearing with Sierra Club President Aaron Mair. The lawmaker asked Mair, “Is it the Sierra Club’s position, as you just testified, that the Earth is cooking up and heating and warming right now?”
Mair never gave an answer that Cruz found satisfactory. The junior senator told Beck the reason he wasn’t satisfied is because the Sierra Club’s response to his questions was, “We have decreed this is the answer, you must accept it.”
“Any good scientist is a skeptic,” Cruz said. “If he’s not, he or she should not be a scientist.”

Doesn't he realize he's got it all backwards ?
You start with a conclusion agreed upon by a carefully vetted 'consensus'. Then you work backwards and prove it discarding any annoying anomalies that are pointed out by heretics, oops make that deniers.
