A new French concept car unveiled at the 2014 Delhi Auto Show attempts to deal with the age-old question “Where did I park?” with modern technology — the drone.
Renault doesn’t call the Kwid’s drone a drone, but instead opts for “Flying Companion,” that can help owners get a bird’s-eye view of traffic, find parking or use GPS technology to scout out destinations.
The Kwid’s drone can operate on an automated setting or manual mode, which lets the driver or passenger control it from a tablet inside the vehicle, Business Insider reported. Renault says the car would be perfectly suited for “the needs of young customers in new markets.”
