If there isn’t a smidgen of corruption, why is Obama’s new appointee apologizing? That’s a question nobody in the Obama lapdog media will be asking. Heck, this won’t even be mentioned anywhere but Fox, but they’re not a real news organization or something.
Zitat The new head of the IRS has apologized to those who suffered because of the agency’s targeting of conservative groups, after he testified before a House subcommittee for the first time.
IRS Commissioner John Koskinen told reporters after the hearing before the House Ways and Means Committee that the singling out of such organizations for special scrutiny would be “intolerable,” and vowed the IRS is not doing so now.
“It won’t happen going forward,” Koskinen said. “And to the extent that people suffered accordingly, I apologize for that.”
Has Obama ever uttered those four words?
ZitatKoskinen also expressed concern over the amount of time and manpower being spent by the IRS on the investigation into the scandal, calling the probe a “major drain” on resources.
Well, isn’t that a shame. Perhaps if there hadn’t been any stonewalling and lying from the outset it wouldn’t be exacting such a cost.
Zitat“Which is one of the reasons I hope we can get to closure as soon as possible to get it behind us,” he said. “The facts will be what they are and we’ll respond appropriately. But we have a lot of resources that we could actually put to productive use dealing with services to taxpayers.”
It’s been nine months since we learned of this massive scandal. Maybe we could get some of those facts. Telling the truth doesn’t cost a dime.
Lapdog media is right! Absolutely no curiosity w\hen it comes to finding discrepancies and searching for a cause. It used to be called investigative reporting.
Imagine if there were no FOX News? Our times would be desperate. Wait, they already are! But the pulse is very faint for democracy at the present time.

Zitat"If in fact IRS personnel engaged in the kind of practices that have been reported on, and were intentionally targeting conservative groups, then that's outrageous, and there's no place for it. And they have to be held fully accountable. Because the IRS as an independent agency, requires absolute integrity and people have to have confidence that they're applying it in a nonpartisan way. Applying the laws in a nonpartisan way. And you should feel that way regardless of party. I don't care whether you're a Democrat, Independent or a Republican."
